Civilization factors: 3- Values and culture
After talking about the first factor and the second one, we are going to discuss today the third factor which is "values and culture"; it is a set of principles which is a behavior umbrella for society. It has been stemmed from its central idea in order to represent it in society.
" Culture is a set of ethical social attributes which the one acquire since his/her birth as an initial capital in the environment where he/she is born, therefore it is the place where the one shapes his/her nature and personality". Malek Ibn Al-Nabi Said.
Values and culture cannot be imported from outside society since we were as if we were endeavoring to put the wheel in its wrong place then the machine has been broken down. Consequently, for the success of civilized project, culture and values have to be derived of the roots of central idea around which people gathered. At this point, they are not in a need for rules since it is an internal commitment for the individual and enhance it is the stronger motivator; it is the internal leader and it is not affected by rules absence or presence, as a result, some scientists, like Muhammad Ahmad baheomy believes in that social movements grow out of values and possess great impact in history course.
Finally, as Mr. Hesham Abd Al-Aziz referred in his book " Renaissance of a nation" in this point, the importance of the central idea lies and it is the seed of the values. Subsequently, if we had imported our values, we would have had strange culture and values to our society.
Does ou society will receive with its goodness and craftiness? A question has to be answered.
See you next Thursday with the last factor of civilization factors.
